Its curved single-arm design provides 7 feet of horizontal reach when flat, paired with a 60-inch cutting head for working beyond the carrier’s immediate footprint. The curved arm provides clearance over obstacles and folds into a compact position for travel between work areas.

The cutting head uses replaceable 200-series flail blades to mow heavy grass and reduce light brush. Its standard F2000 configuration has 48 blade clusters, with optional F3000 heavy blades available by quote for a different cutting setup. Choose the D510 or D530 piston motor to suit the carrier’s hydraulic output; cutting capacity depends on the motor, blade choice, flow, and pressure. Front and rear height adjustments, a steel deck roller, and a solid flat-free support tire help the head follow the work surface while supporting attachment weight.

Large hydraulic cylinders position the arm, while the selected control kit operates the mower’s hydraulic functions from the cab. Breakaway shear pins provide a designed release point to help limit damage if the boom encounters an obstruction. Sleeved hydraulic hoses help protect lines against wear, and zinc-plated greaseable pins with hardened spring-steel bushings support serviceable pivot joints. A durable powder-coated finish protects the steel structure during outdoor maintenance work.

Designed for skid steers weighing 5,000–12,000 lb, the SWA550 suits contractors and property-maintenance crews working along established boundaries. A connected case drain is required; hydraulic hoses are included, while couplers must be selected separately. Each priced configuration includes its listed control-valve kit, and the mower includes six spare flail teeth. Confirm the carrier’s motor match, electrical pin functions, and setup requirements before ordering; the skid-steer weight range does not establish wheel-loader suitability.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0690/0878/5501/files/swa550-baumalight-ditch-mower-swa550.jpg?v=1790827267
