baumalight-isr512-tree-shear
Baumalight Tree Shear ISR512 For Skid Steers

The Baumalight ISR512 Tree Shear turns a compatible skid steer into a focused tool for cutting small trees and managing woody growth. Its hydraulic cutting action is designed for a capacity of up to 12 inches, helping contractors and property owners clear access routes, reclaim overgrown ground, and remove selected trees. The rotating head provides different cutting orientations for working on standing trunks and horizontal limbs.

An abrasion-resistant AR400 steel blade and a hydraulic cylinder provide the core cutting mechanism. The head rotates through a full 90 degrees, letting the operator change between upright tree cutting and horizontal limb work. This model does not include a grabber; its integrated push bar assists with brush management. Those handling features support the cutting workflow, while careful positioning and stable carrier operation remain essential.

Match this attachment to 5,000–8,000 lb skid steers, with auxiliary hydraulic flow of 15–60 GPM. Cutting performance changes with hydraulic pressure and wood type, so the maximum diameter is a selection guide rather than a promise for every tree. Use Baumalight’s cutting-performance chart to compare your available pressure with the expected species and trunk diameter. A tree shear leaves roots and a stump in the ground; plan a separate removal step when the site requires complete root extraction.

Greaseable pivot points, hardened steel bushings, and protected hydraulic hose routing support regular field service. Rotation requires one ON/OFF electrical pin and ground. Confirm the correct carrier connector or optional hand control before ordering; electrical controls and adapters are separate. Follow the operator’s manual for inspection, maintenance, and field operation.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0690/0878/5501/files/Baumalight-ISR512-insicor-vertically-aligned.jpg?v=1791067168
