Crystal Quest Arsenic Whole House Water Filter delivers full-home protection from arsenic contamination without sacrificing flow rate or water pressure. Designed for homes using well water or groundwater, this system reduces arsenic, arsenate, and arsenite to below EPA limits (0.010 mg/L). It supports additional upgrades for softening, disinfection, and multi-stage filtration, making it ideal for large households or high-demand use cases.

Pre-Filtration:

20” sediment cartridge removes sand, rust, and silt
Extends media life and protects internal components

Arsenic Reduction:

Specialized mineral tank targets arsenic, arsenate, and arsenite
Engineered to reduce arsenic levels below federal MCL

Post-Filtration:

20” solid carbon cartridge removes VOCs, pesticides, solvents, and organic compounds

What types of arsenic does this system remove from water?

This system is engineered to remove arsenic in its most common forms—arsenite (As III), arsenate (As V), and other inorganic arsenic compounds. These are typically introduced into groundwater through natural deposits or agricultural runoff.

Will I notice a difference in taste or smell after installing this filter?

Arsenic has no taste or odor, so it often goes undetected without testing. However, the system also reduces chlorine, VOCs, and other contaminants that affect taste and smell, resulting in noticeably cleaner, fresher water throughout the home.

Do I need to add the water softener or SMART filter upgrade?

If you live in an area with hard water or want additional protection from heavy metals, pesticides, or pharmaceutical residues, the SMART filter and softener upgrades are highly recommended. They enhance overall water quality and protect plumbing and appliances.

How often does the system need maintenance or servicing?

Maintenance depends on your water usage and configuration. The system includes a backwashing valve by default, and optional metered valves can automate cleaning based on water volume used. Resin media typically needs replacement every few years.

Is this system safe for high-humidity or salt-prone environments?

Yes, but if your setup will be exposed to humidity, salt, or condensation, a fiberglass tank is recommended over stainless steel to prevent pinholes and rust. Regular wiping of exposed surfaces can also prolong system life.
