While the system comes pre-tested and is designed for easy installation, we recommend professional plumbing installation—especially if you’re adding a storage tank or connecting to your full home supply—to ensure proper setup and performance.

What is the benefit of adding a storage tank kit?

Adding a storage tank ensures that purified water is available on-demand without waiting for the RO process. The tank size (165, 220, or 550 gallons) is selected based on your flow rate and daily water needs, and includes float switches to automatically manage supply.

Does this system remove beneficial minerals from water?

Yes, reverse osmosis removes nearly all dissolved solids—including beneficial minerals. To restore mineral content and taste, we recommend adding the optional remineralizer system for balanced, alkaline water that’s better for long-term consumption.
