The Baumalight 1P14 is a compact PTO stump grinder built specifically for subcompact and small compact tractors that use a hydrostatic transmission and Category I three-point hitch. Designed around a 16-inch cutting rotor with twelve H3000 high-speed round carbide teeth, the 1P14 gives smaller tractor owners a simple, hydraulic-free way to remove stumps using the tractor’s 540 RPM PTO.

Unlike swing-style grinders that require hydraulic remotes, the 1P14 uses a gravity-feed, self-regulating cutting head. As the tractor advances into the stump, the hinged grinder head maintains cutting pressure and can automatically swing back slightly if the tractor is moved forward too aggressively. This helps protect the drivetrain while keeping the grinding action smooth and predictable.

The 1P14 is engineered for tractors in the 20–45 HP range, with a maximum engine rating of 45 HP and maximum PTO rating of 35 HP. Its cutting wheel reaches 10 inches above grade and 5 inches below grade, with a maximum 2-inch cutting depth per pass and an 18-inch horizontal cut. The compact 360 lb attachment is quick-hitch compatible and requires no hydraulic remotes or 12-volt electrical connection.

Each H3000 round tooth can be rotated up to three times to expose a fresh carbide cutting edge, extending service life and reducing replacement frequency. The unit also includes a slip-clutch PTO shaft for drivetrain protection and six free replacement teeth for field service.

For subcompact tractors with shorter lower-link geometry, Baumalight may require the D007601 extension kit. Before ordering, operators should measure from the PTO lock groove to the center of the lower link arm pin holes to confirm fitment.
