MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES

36" CUTTING WIDTH

A 36 INCH CUTTING WIDTH GIVES THIS CUTTER A DEFINED WORKING SWATH FOR RECLAIMING OVERGROWN GROUND, WITH THE 47 INCH CUTTING PATH GUIDING ACCESS AND CARRIER POSITIONING.

2-BLADE CUTTING ROTOR

THE 2 BLADE ROTOR USES REVERSIBLE CUTTING EDGES TO ATTACK VEGETATION THROUGH REPEATED PASSES, WITH REPLACEABLE BLADES SUPPORTING SCHEDULED SERVICE AND A FRESH CUTTING EDGE AS WEAR DEVELOPS.

MATCHED MOTOR CONFIGURATIONS

MOTOR FLOW RANGES HELP MATCH THE CUTTER TO YOUR CARRIER, SO HYDRAULIC OUTPUT, WORKING PRESSURE, AND CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS CAN BE CHECKED TOGETHER BEFORE THE ATTACHMENT ENTERS SERVICE.

REINFORCED DECK AND BEARING SUPPORT

A REINFORCED 3/16" STEEL DECK FORMS A DURABLE BASE, WITH LARGE BEARING SUPPORT CARRYING THE ROTOR DURING REPEATED CUTTING PASSES THROUGH OVERGROWN VEGETATION AND WOODY BRUSH.

REPLACEMENT BLADES INCLUDED

A FREE REPLACEMENT BLADE SET COMES WITH A NEW CUTTER, PROVIDING SERVICE PARTS FOR KEEPING THE ROTOR READY AS CUTTING EDGES WEAR THROUGH REGULAR PROPERTY MAINTENANCE AND CLEARING WORK.

Applications

Baumalight CXG336

The Baumalight CXG336 Excavator Rotary Brush Cutter puts a 36-inch cutting width at the end of a compatible excavator's boom, helping operators manage vegetation on banks, ditches, and other areas that are difficult to approach with a conventional mower. The 47-inch cutting path and open front and rear deck support controlled positioning around brush and uneven terrain. With the excavator carrying and orienting the attachment, the operator can bring the cutter to the material while respecting the machine's lifting and stability limits.

The M250 roller-vane motor works with a 6–18 GPM hydraulic flow range and does not require a case drain, making this model a practical choice for appropriately matched compact excavators. Its two-way rotor carries reversible slasher blades for repeated cutting passes. Maximum brush capacity is 4-inch maximum brush size; actual cutting performance depends on the selected motor, carrier hydraulics, vegetation, and operator technique.

The 3/16-inch steel deck is reinforced with support channels to form a durable working platform for property reclamation. Large bearing support carries the cutting assembly, and Grade 8 blade fasteners with castle nuts and cotter pins secure the slasher blades. A 3/4-inch rotor and bolt-on bottom cover support durability while keeping service access practical. A free replacement blade set is supplied with a new cutter, helping keep scheduled blade service straightforward as the working edges wear.

The CXG336 weighs 400 lb and is designed for 3–6 ton tracked; 4.5–7 ton wheeled excavators. The package includes a carrier-matched bolt-on excavator mount. Wires, hoses, and couplers are sold separately. Confirm the M250 motor’s 2,500–3,000 PSI working range and match the excavator’s hydraulic connections before operation. Verify the complete attachment setup with the carrier specifications and follow the operator's manual for installation, cutting technique, and maintenance.

Baumalight CXG336

• Working Width for Your Carrier – The 36-inch cutting width gives the CXG336 a defined swath for managing overgrown ground. Match the working envelope to access, terrain, and the carrier's ability to position the attachment.

• Hydraulics Matched to the Machine – The offered motor setup provides a defined range for matching carrier flow and pressure. Correct hydraulic selection helps the rotor work effectively under load without assuming all machines supply the same output.

• Serviceable Cutting Edges – The 2-blade rotor uses reversible, replaceable cutting edges for scheduled service. A free replacement blade set is included with a new cutter, giving you practical support for maintaining blade condition.

• Construction for Brush Work – The 3/16" steel deck is reinforced with support channels. Large bearing support carries the rotor during repeated cutting passes.

• Reach Difficult Vegetation – Boom positioning helps bring the cutter to ditch edges, banks, and other difficult areas. Carrier stability, reach limits, and attachment weight still govern where and how it can work.

• Clear Installation Requirements – The carrier-matched excavator mount is included. Wires, hoses, and couplers are supplied separately for the installation. Verify the motor, hydraulic connections, and any required case drain before startup.
