Most Important Features

DIRECT PTO MULCHING POWER

ENGINEERED FOR EFFICIENT BRUSH CLEARING USING A DIRECT PTO DRIVE THAT DELIVERS CONSISTENT TORQUE FROM THE TRACTOR TO THE ROTOR. PROVIDES STRONG, CONTROLLED CUTTING PERFORMANCE WITHOUT RELYING ON HYDRAULICS.

ADJUSTABLE CUTTING SHIELD

FEATURES AN OPERATOR-CONTROLLED CUTTING SHIELD THAT CAN BE OPENED FOR A MORE AGGRESSIVE BITE OR CLOSED FOR FINER MULCH OUTPUT. IMPROVES VERSATILITY ACROSS DIFFERENT BRUSH TYPES AND CONDITIONS.

SPIRAL-TOOTH ROTOR DESIGN

SPIRAL PATTERN FEEDS MATERIAL ONE TOOTH AT A TIME FOR SMOOTHER ROTOR LOAD, LESS VIBRATION, AND A CLEANER, MORE CONSISTENT MULCH FINISH IN BOTH LIGHT AND DENSE BRUSH.

500 SERIES TOOTH SYSTEM

COMPATIBLE WITH PLANER OR RIPPER TEETH, ALLOWING OPERATORS TO TUNE THE MP572 FOR EFFICIENT SLICING OR MORE AGGRESSIVE SHREDDING. IDEAL FOR MIXED OR HARDER WOODY MATERIAL.

REINFORCED TRACTOR-GRADE FRAME

BUILT WITH HEAVY-GAUGE, FULLY WELDED STEEL AND GUSSETED STRESS POINTS TO WITHSTAND THE DEMANDS OF TRACTOR-BASED LAND CLEARING. PROVIDES LONG-TERM DURABILITY IN FIELD, FARM, AND FENCE LINE WORK.

Baumalight MP572

The Baumalight MP572 is a PTO-driven fixed tooth mulcher designed for 3-point tractors that need reliable cutting performance for fence lines, property maintenance, and light contractor clearing work. Built within Baumalight’s 500 Series platform, the MP572 uses a direct mechanical drive system from the tractor’s PTO to the heavy-duty gearbox, delivering efficient torque transfer and consistent rotor performance without hydraulic dependency.

The MP572 accepts two styles of 500 Series teeth: planer teeth for clean, efficient slicing and ripper teeth for more aggressive shredding in dense or fibrous material. Both tooth types are mounted on Baumalight’s spiral-tooth rotor, which feeds brush one tooth at a time to smooth load fluctuations, reduce vibration, and produce an even mulch finish. The V-shaped tooth design helps deflect stone impacts and hard debris, improving holder durability and giving operators safer below-grade cutting control along fence lines or uneven ground.

One of the standout features of the MP572 is the adjustable cutting shield. Operators can open the shield for a better attack angle on heavier material or close it to produce finer mulch and maintain tighter control over output. This flexibility gives the MP572 broader capability across varied vegetation types compared to fixed-shield mulchers.

Because it is tractor-mounted, the MP572 can run in forward travel, letting operators drive over brush and re-mulch material for a finer finish. This makes the MP572 especially well-suited for landowners and contractors who want both initial clearing power and the ability to refine mulch quality without additional passes or separate equipment.

The MP572 is built with reinforced housings, heavy-duty gearbox components, and Baumalight’s proven 500 Series rotor—making it a dependable PTO mulcher for acreage management, fence line clearing, and farm property maintenance. Every unit includes 6 free replacement teeth, and operators can select additional planer or ripper teeth depending on their work environment.

Baumalight MP572

Direct PTO Drive – Gearbox-connected PTO system delivers steady torque for efficient mulching without hydraulic dependency.
Adjustable Cutting Shield – Operators can open or close the shield to change attack angle or refine mulch texture depending on material load.
Spiral-Tooth Rotor Pattern – Processes brush one tooth at a time for smoother feeding, reduced vibration, and consistent mulching action.
Planer or Ripper Teeth Options – 500 Series teeth provide efficient slicing or more aggressive shredding depending on vegetation density.
Forward-Pass Mulching – Tractor-driven design allows operators to run forward over material to further refine mulch output on the second pass.
V-Shaped Tooth Geometry – Helps deflect stone and ground impacts, reducing stress on tooth holders and extending cutting system life.
