The Baumalight MX530R is a fixed tooth brush mulcher designed for 4–12 ton excavators, built to handle fence line clearing, right-of-way maintenance, and general contractor vegetation work. Compact, durable, and easy to control, the MX530R delivers efficient brush processing without overloading smaller excavators.

The “R” designation features an integrated frame-mounted root rake, allowing operators to push logs, limbs, and debris out of the cutting path without switching attachments. This makes the MX530R especially effective for fence lines, property edges, and cleanup-sensitive areas.

Cutting Tooth Options

The MX530R is available with two cutting tooth configurations to match job requirements:

  • Planer Teeth
    Designed for controlled, bite-by-bite mulching. Ideal for smooth, consistent brush reduction and predictable cutting performance.
  • Ripper Teeth
    Built for aggressive shredding in tougher conditions. The V-shaped design resists impacts from rocks and hard objects, making it well-suited for below-grade mulching and fence line work.

A V-shaped rotor pattern feeds material evenly through the cutting chamber, helping reduce vibration and maintain steady performance across uneven terrain. This design improves cut quality while minimizing shock loads to the attachment and excavator.
