This unit delivers the same industrial performance as Baumalight’s larger commercial heads but optimized for operators who need fast, clean throughput in vegetation management, forestry clearing, and aggressive land reclamation.

Built around a 60" rotor and a fixed-tooth, heavy-impact R9000 carbite tip system, the MX960R is designed to stay in the cut—even when ground contact is unavoidable. Operators working in rocky soils, ROW clearing, or mixed hardwood environments rely on the R9000 teeth for long wear life, consistent bite, and zero hesitation around stones, roots, or dense brush.

Powered by a high-efficiency piston motor and reinforced with a low-weight, high-strength AR400 steel chassis, the MX960R delivers exceptional torque without sacrificing swing speed. Inside the frame, Baumalight integrates an aggressive root-rake ripper tooth package, allowing you not just to mulch—but to rip, pull, dislodge, and process material in one continuous motion.
