Baumalight RC442

The Baumalight RC442 hydraulic auger drive is built for owner-operators who need a compact, dependable drilling attachment for fence posts, landscaping, tree planting, and general property work. It is designed for mini skid steers, skid steers up to 5,000 lb, and mini excavators up to 4,000 lb.

The RC442 uses a rugged gear drive with a 3.18:1 ratio and a 2-inch round output shaft. A heavy-duty universal joint helps the auger follow the hole while the standard-frame design keeps the attachment compact and easy to manage on smaller carriers.

Hydraulic requirements are 6–14 GPM recommended with up to 18 GPM maximum. Baumalight publishes operating data from 1,000 to 1,750 PSI, making the RC442 a practical fit for lower-flow compact carriers.

Double-shielded hoses help protect the hydraulic lines from punctures and abrasion, while anti-slip pads improve access around the attachment. Auger bits, mounting plates, and carrier-specific hose packages are selected separately.
