Baumalight RC586

The Baumalight RC586 Contractor Series hydraulic auger drive is designed for professional landscapers, contractors, and equipment operators who need high torque, durable construction, and flexible carrier compatibility. It mounts to skid steers and excavators for post holes, tree planting, stump planing, and rock-breaking applications.

A heavy-duty planetary drive with a 6:1 gear ratio powers a 2-inch hex output shaft. The 1½-inch pivot pin uses brass bushings, while the reinforced frame is built for repeated commercial workloads.

Hydraulic requirements are 6–24 GPM with up to 25 GPM maximum. Baumalight publishes performance data from 1,500 to 3,000 PSI. The RC586 is rated for skid steers from 2,000 to 10,000 lb and excavators from 3,000 to 20,000 lb.

The RC586 combines strong torque, low-to-moderate flow compatibility, and commercial-grade hardware in a compact contractor platform. Mounting plates, hoses, and auger bits are configured separately for the carrier and job.
