The Baumalight DXD752 Tree Saw gives excavators a dedicated cutting tool for pruning limbs, clearing woody growth, and maintaining access around rural properties and work sites. Its 52-inch circular blade provides a cutting capacity of up to 20 inches, making it a practical way to cut trees and branches before moving or processing the material. Mounted at the end of the excavator boom, the saw uses the carrier's reach to approach vegetation from a useful working position.
This model uses a 360-degree powered slew drive. Powered rotation changes the blade's approach without manually unbolting the head, helping the operator move between cutting angles as the task changes. Replaceable Beaver teeth use durable alloy-steel cutting tips that can be resharpened, with four cutting edges per tooth supporting scheduled service. Six replacement teeth are included for future service.
The T590 bent-axis piston motor works within a 25–60 GPM hydraulic flow range, with a dedicated case-drain connection required. The DXD752 is sized for 10–22 ton excavators. A carrier-matched excavator mount is included in this package; connecting hoses, hydraulic couplers, and boom wiring are supplied separately for the installation. Powered head rotation requires two ON/OFF electrical pins and ground, with the connector and control arrangement matched to the machine.
Heavy-duty bearing support carries the blade through repeated cutting, and the blade shield helps direct chips around the working head. Removable access panels keep routine servicing practical, while protected hydraulic hose routing reduces exposure to brush and moving components. A root rake with replaceable bucket-style teeth helps move cut logs and debris out of the cutting area. The saw cuts above-ground material and leaves roots and the remaining stump in place.
