The Baumalight HSM513 Tree Saw gives skid steers a dedicated cutting tool for limbing along tall hedges, clearing fence rows, and maintaining hard-to-reach branches. Its 30-inch circular blade provides a cutting capacity of up to 10 inches, making it a practical way to cut trees and branches before moving or processing the material. The extended boom adds a high-reach working arrangement while keeping the saw connected to the skid steer's positioning controls.
This model uses a manually repositioned cutting head for horizontal cutting or vertical trimming. Head positioning is changed manually by loosening the mounting bolts, rotating the assembly, and securing it in the selected position. Replaceable carbide-tipped high-speed teeth chip through the wood, and each tooth can be repositioned to present one of three cutting edges. Six replacement teeth are included for future service.
The T530 bent-axis piston motor works within a 10–40 GPM hydraulic flow range, with a dedicated case-drain connection required. Hydraulic hoses are included with the universal skid steer mounting arrangement, while hydraulic couplers are supplied separately to match the carrier. No auxiliary electrical connection is required for head positioning.
Heavy-duty bearing support carries the blade through repeated cutting, and the blade shield helps direct chips around the working head. Removable access panels keep routine servicing practical, while protected hydraulic hose routing reduces exposure to brush and moving components. The extended boom folds for more compact transport and storage. The saw cuts above-ground material and leaves roots and the remaining stump in place. Use the carrier within its rated handling limits and follow the operator's manual for setup and field operation.
