Description

The Dipperfox SC500 is a high-performance stump removal attachment designed for excavators from 3 to 14 tons, tractor backhoe loaders from 6 to 14 tons, and compact track loaders in the 2 to 6 ton range. Engineered for demanding forestry, landscaping, and construction applications, the SC500 combines the crushing power of a stump crusher with the efficiency of a grinder, delivering consistent professional results across a wide range of job sites. Unlike traditional self-propelled stump grinders, the SC500 mounts directly to your machine, dramatically improving productivity and reducing downtime. Contractors, municipalities, arborists, and land-clearing crews rely on it for its speed, safety, and reliability. Generating up to 12,645 pounds of cutting torque, the SC500 operates at low RPMs for powerful yet controlled cutting. Debris remains concentrated near the drilling position, which reduces cleanup time, while the absence of high-speed spinning blades minimizes risk and shrinks the safety zone. Its reduced noise levels make it suitable for residential and urban environments, and its compact design allows operators to remove stumps in tight spaces near buildings, fences, paved surfaces, and stones. The SC500 is built for performance and versatility. It offers a cutting width of 20 inches and a cut size of 27 inches, with a hydraulic flow range of 13 to 40 GPM and a working pressure between 2,755 and 3,629 PSI. The required engine power is 35 to 60 kW, and the total shipping weight with packaging is approximately 775 pounds. These specifications make the SC500 an adaptable solution for land and forestry clearing, municipal and utility maintenance, residential and commercial stump removal, arborist operations, and construction or excavation projects.
