Grit-Coat Container Ramps

The grit-coat container ramp provides an approach over a suitable shipping-container edge for a forklift or pallet jack. Its single-piece aluminum construction supports container loading without separate narrow wheel ramps.

The grit-coated surface supports traction while the tapered lower edge provides a smoother approach. Choose the width and length for the equipment, and match the container-edge height and per-axle rating to the selected model. The 36″, 45″ and 63″ widths have different dimensions and ratings.

Measure the actual container edge and check the equipment’s loaded axle weight, wheel spacing and ground clearance. Wedge ramp pairs are intended for forklifts; the single-piece container ramps can serve suitable forklifts or pallet jacks. Position the ramp on a stable surface with proper support at the container edge, and stay within the selected model’s rating.
