Indeco Mulcher Head

The Indeco IMH mulching heads are engineered to transform 3–15 ton excavators into high-output land-clearing tools. Built with HARDOX steel components for durability, these hydraulically driven, boom-mounted mulchers deliver fast vegetation reduction, precise control, and long-life performance in demanding environments.

These mulchers are designed to cut and process brush, saplings, undergrowth, small trees, and general vegetation with speed and stability. A bite-limiter drum controls cutting depth while maintaining consistent rotor speed, helping each model produce clean, even mulch while preventing overload on the carrier. The optimized tooth layout, combined with aggressive cutting geometry, improves bite efficiency and maintains productivity across variable vegetation density.

The IMH series for compact excavators uses fixed-displacement hydraulic motors matched to excavators with lower flow ranges. These motors are built to handle high back-pressure, deliver strong torque, and maintain consistent performance under load. The direct-drive transmission design reduces mechanical loss and provides smoother torque transfer than belt-driven systems in this size class.

Indeco offers three cutter options to match jobsite conditions:
• Multi-purpose cutters for general brush and mixed vegetation
• Cobra cutters for hardwoods, dense fiber, and tougher material
• Tungsten carbide cutters for abrasive soils, debris, or applications requiring fine mulch

Indeco Mulcher Head

  • High-efficiency cutting performance – Bite-limiter drum design maintains optimal cutting depth and rotor speed for consistent mulch quality.
  • Durable HARDOX construction – Heavy-duty body, runners, and components withstand long clearing cycles and abrasive ground conditions.
  • Smooth, controlled operation – Fixed-displacement motors provide stable torque delivery across variable flow ranges.
  • Low vibration cutting – Rotor and tooth layout reduce vibration for more comfortable, precise machine handling.
  • Cleaner material processing – Teeth placement and drum geometry promote even shredding and uniform mulch output.
  • Easy maintenance access – Centralized hydraulic ports, greasing points, and direct motor access simplify daily upkeep.
  • Flexible carrier compatibility – Interchangeable mounting points fit a wide range of compact excavators across 3–18 tons.
  • Multiple cutter options – Choose multi-purpose, cobra, or tungsten carbide teeth based on terrain, wood hardness, or debris levels.
