Loflin 72-Inch Open Front Brush Cutter

The Loflin Fabrication 72-Inch Open Front Brush Cutter is an open-front rotary cutter for vegetation maintenance, overgrown areas, and access-route clearing. Its 72-inch working width is offered with the motor options in the selector.

Loflin’s proprietary direct drive combines a one-piece heat-treated forged steel axle, an iron housing, and oversized tapered roller bearings. A reinforced 1/4-inch deck surrounds an enclosed motor and drive assembly.

Bi-directional forged blades cut in either direction, with pressure relief in both directions of rotation. Select the two-, three-, or four-blade arrangement available for this width; blade choices vary by size.

Match the selected motor’s flow range to your machine’s auxiliary circuit and confirm the operating pressure before ordering. Confirm exact skid-steer quick-attach interface. Carrier lift capacity and attachment weight must also be checked separately.

Loflin 72-Inch Open Front Brush Cutter

  • A one-piece heat-treated forged steel axle transfers motor power through Loflin’s proprietary drive without a gearbox.
  • Fully heat-treated forged blades are designed for operation in both directions of rotation.
  • A reinforced 1/4-inch steel deck forms the cutter housing.
  • The motor and drive assembly are enclosed to reduce exposure of the working components during brush cutting.
  • Select the motor displacement for the chosen cutter width and the carrier’s auxiliary flow. A motor code alone does not establish a pressure match.
