MOST IMPORTANT FEATURES

48-INCH TRENCHING DEPTH

THE TRENCHER WORKS TO A 48-INCH DIGGING DEPTH WITH A 6-INCH CUTTING WIDTH. MATCH THE TRENCH LAYOUT TO THE UTILITY, DRAINAGE, OR IRRIGATION INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS.

630CC HYDRAULIC MOTOR

A 630CC HYDRAULIC MOTOR POWERS THE TRENCHING MECHANISM. THE ATTACHMENT USES A 16–40 GPM AUXILIARY HYDRAULIC FLOW RANGE FOR ITS CONTINUOUS CUTTING DRIVE.

DIRT-TOOTH CUTTING CHAIN

A DIRT-TOOTH CHAIN ENGAGES THE SOIL ALONG THE DIGGING BOOM. A TOOTH ON EVERY LINK PROVIDES SUCCESSIVE CUTTING CONTACT AS THE CHAIN MOVES THROUGH THE TRENCH.

12-INCH SPOIL AUGER

THE 12-INCH SPOIL AUGER MOVES EXCAVATED SOIL AWAY FROM THE CUTTING AREA. ITS BAFFLE HELPS DIRECT DISPLACED MATERIAL BESIDE THE TRENCH DURING THE DIGGING PASS.

ADJUSTABLE CHAIN TENSION

AN ADJUSTABLE TENSIONER SETS THE WORKING CHAIN ARRANGEMENT AROUND THE BOOM. THE HEAVY-DUTY NOSE BEARING SUPPORTS THE CHAIN PATH AT THE OUTER END OF THE DIGGING ASSEMBLY.

Loflin Hydraulic Trencher

The Loflin Fabrication Hydraulic Trencher cuts a 6-inch-wide trench to a working depth of 48 inches with a suitable skid steer or compact track loader. It handles focused excavation for utility, irrigation, and drainage work.

A 630cc hydraulic motor and planetary drive power the dirt-tooth cutting chain. Teeth on every link provide successive cutting contact, while a 12-inch spoil auger and baffle move excavated material away from the working area.

The adjustable chain tensioner maintains the working chain arrangement around the boom. A heavy-duty nose bearing supports the outer chain path, and the attachment weighs 660 pounds.

The cutting drive requires 16–40 GPM of auxiliary hydraulic flow. Match the hydraulic circuit, mounting interface, and carrier handling capacity, and locate buried utilities before starting any trenching work.

MATCH YOUR WORKING SETUP:

  • Utility and conduit trench preparation.
  • Irrigation-line installation.
  • Drainage trench excavation.
  • Match the mounting or component interface to the installed equipment.
  • Account for attachment weight within carrier handling limits.

READY FOR THE FIELD:

  • Inspect working components and retaining hardware.
  • Secure the attachment or replacement part to the correct interface.
  • Inspect hydraulic connections where the assembly uses them.
  • Check the work area for obstructions and locate buried utilities.
  • Follow the carrier and attachment operating or service procedures.
