Heavy Duty Ramp's 8 ft aluminum step deck trailer ramps are engineered for loading heavy equipment onto step deck trailers, flatbeds, and loading docks where high axle loads, repeat cycling, and structural stability are required.
Manufactured from high-strength aluminum, the ramps provide a rigid load path while reducing handling weight compared to steel alternatives. Each ramp incorporates a reinforced stubbed toe section that increases stiffness at the transition point and limits deflection under load. This design allows the ramps to be used individually, in matched pairs, or as part of a modular ramp system depending on trailer configuration.
The ramp surface utilizes extra-wide, welded serrated rungs to maintain consistent traction for wheeled and tracked equipment. Rung spacing and profile are optimized to support larger tire footprints while reducing slip during ascent and descent.
Pin-on attachment ends are designed for use with compatible skid seat brackets and must be mechanically secured prior to loading. Once pinned, the ramps remain stable under shifting axle loads during equipment movement.
This product is offered as a single ramp system with selectable width configurations. Structural capacity and individual ramp weight vary by width selection.

Common applications include loading tractors, loaders, trucks, and heavy equipment where axle weight distribution and ramp rigidity are critical. Not recommended for steel-tracked vehicles, forklifts, or trucks equipped with mounted cranes. Axle weight should be verified prior to use and must not exceed the rated capacity of the selected ramp configuration.
