DESCRIPTION

Virnig 4′ Auger Bits provide four-foot drilling tools for compatible auger drives, with configurations for general soil, tree planting, and rock. Selecting the bit around the ground conditions helps put the appropriate cutting arrangement at the bottom of the hole instead of relying on one bit style for every task.

Standard and tree bits use double flighting and a fishtail point to cut and move excavated material. Available tooth configurations include bolt-on and pound-in designs. Choose the bit diameter for the finished hole, then match the collar to the drive output; standard and tree configurations include 2″ hex and 2⁹⁄₁₆″ round choices.

Rock bits use a different cutting arrangement with single flighting, rotating bullet teeth, and a CDR rock pilot. Confirm the selected rock bit's collar and the drive's diameter and torque limits before ordering. This listing supplies the selected bit configuration; the hydraulic auger drive is a separate component of the drilling setup.
