The Virnig V40 Open Front Brush Cutter gives standing brush direct access to the cutting blades through an open-front deck. A direct-drive Eaton motor powers three double-sided blades with up to 39″ of active cutting edge. The flywheel carries energy through the cut, while hydraulic braking stops rotation within 10 seconds after shutdown. Replaceable front skid shoes provide contact surfaces that can be renewed as the cutter works over rough ground.
