DESCRIPTION

The Virnig V40 Root Rake Grapple brings digging, raking, piling, and loading together in one attachment. Its toothed lower frame works into roots and brush, while the hydraulic grapple gathers loosened material for removal. The open layout allows loose soil to fall through instead of carrying it away with every pile.

Replaceable cast teeth provide serviceable points at the digging edge. NitroSteel® cylinder rods and Teflon®-coated bushings equip the hydraulic pivots for repeated opening and closing. The V40 URG-UT arrangement is useful when cleanup requires engaging the ground and then holding irregular vegetation during transport.

Choose the model around the carrier's capacity and the working area. Known clearance concerns affect 60″ and 66″ URG-UT models on Takeuchi® TL12 loaders, and all V40 widths on John Deere® 330G, 331G, 332G, and 333G loaders. Confirm the selected attachment's clearance through its operating range before ordering.
