The Virnig V50 Trencher gives a compatible loader a dedicated digging tool for trenching work where depth, width, and chain selection need to match the job. Its four-position depth adjustment lets the operator set the desired digging depth, while the anti-back-flex chain works through the selected trench path.

Manual side shift moves the trencher's working position relative to the loader, and the removable auger provides another way to configure the attachment for work near structures. During normal trenching, the auger moves excavated spoil away from the opening, helping keep loose material from collecting directly over the trench.

A standard crumber helps leave the trench bottom clean and smooth, reducing loose material left behind the chain. Bi-directional chain rotation helps expel objects, while the greasable idler bearing at the boom end provides an accessible service point.
