DESCRIPTION

The Virnig V70 Drum Mulcher clears trees and vegetation up to 14 inches in diameter and processes felled material into a fine mulch. Its 60- and 72-inch cutting widths let contractors match the head to the carrier and working area.

Choose a fixed piston motor for lighter vegetation above ground or a variable piston motor for added torque during stump grinding and below-grade work. Smooth and bite control drums offer different ways to manage ground engagement and material intake.

Each configuration includes a complete, width-matched tooth kit. Steel planer teeth favor fine mulch without ground contact, carbide planer teeth handle limited ground contact, and carbide hammer teeth suit rocky conditions and heavier ground engagement.

AR400 skid shoes, an adjustable push bar, replaceable wear liner, and adjustable bottom bite plate support repeated forestry work. Supply your loader make, model, and actual auxiliary flow when ordering so Virnig can tune the drive to your machine. Do not operate without a shatterproof cab. Confirm case drain, hydraulic settings, guarding, and carrier suitability before use.

  • Selected price includes the drum head and full tooth kit. Pressure gauge is included only when selected.
